TEDxKangiwa is an independently organized TED event operated under license from TED. It is a one-day event featuring prominent speakers from different walks of life that will share unique and powerful ideas about their communities, their work and the world around them.
The theme, Resilience – A Brave New World, was adopted for value and meaning it has as related to our current situation globally as well as locally. COVID-19 has turned the world upside down. Everything has been impacted. How we live and interact with each other, how we work and communicate, how we move around and travel, how we study and conduct our businesses.
We hope to identify where we got it wrong and find ways to not only restore past glories but also spark ideas, start conversations and lead actions that can re-position Katsina as a culturally rich, modern as well as prosperous state in not only Nigeria but also Africa and the World at large.
